Book Launch Updates and More
It’s been a whirlwind the last few weeks and I wanted to update everyone. My new book Imagine That… From PCs to NFTs has been out just over 1 month and the reception has been fantastic. The feedback from people I really admire has been so good and really helpful.
People especially appreciate the education value of the book as well as the 9 amazing Use Cases that span such a wide range of disciplines from music, to sports, to space travel, to financial services, media, environmental concerns around crypto, and iconic brands in the space. And, yes, the podcasts will return shortly, featuring Use Cases and more.
Here’s a brief overview of my activities around the book:

CEU San Pablo Madrid. I was invited as a guest instructor (via UCLAx) by CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, Spain. What an honor! I was in Madrid for one week and got to see some of the historical sites as well as teach a master class on Brand Management to 38 wonderful young students. I also signed books for the Dean of the University as well as the Vice Rector and others.
Speaker at OuterEdge (formerly NFT/LA). Last week I participated on a panel at the fabulous OuterEdge conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center with Kyle Schember (from the Subtractive Use Case in the book) and CosmicWire. What a treat to participate and listen in on other panels and speakers. It is inspiring to be surrounded by so many creative and smart NFT and Web3 creators, developers, and investors!
Upcoming PULSE Conference and Book Signing. Every year UCLA Anderson’s Center for Media, Entertainment & Sports puts on the PULSE Conference to highlight new innovations and movers and shakers in the space. I teach a summer session each year for the Center on the Business of Media, Sports & Entertainment. This year I have been invited to moderate a panel entitled "Exploring the Intersection of Sports, Media, Entertainment, and NFTs and Web3". Media star Shira Lazat, IP attorney Natalia Aranovich, NFT/NIL Sports Agency Founder Ian Brown, and ‘Safa’ from Jenkins the Valet will be joining me for a lively conversation on the topic. I will also give a pre-conference book talk and book signing that morning. Please check it out - hope you can stop by.
Upcoming event at Brazilian Consulate in Los Angeles. There are 2 Use Cases from Brazilians in the book. Thanks to Natalia Aranovich, IP Attorney, I am honored to announce that we will host a book event at the Consulate in Los Angeles in May. I had the opportunity to speak there before the pandemic and very much look forward to returning. Watch this space for your invite.
Upcoming Book Launch Party. The ‘official’ Book Launch Party plans are in the works and you will be personally invited to attend.
