From PCs to AI - Pioneering Digital Ownership and Beyond
New book title, podcast schedule, AI panel at Innovate@UCLA
Hello! I hope everyone has had a great summer. As we move into fall, I am happy to keep you informed on my latest updates.
First off, I have re-released my book under a new title. Timing is everything and From PCs to AI-Pioneering Digital Ownership and Beyond is a book for the current time. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the power of digital ownership, including NFTs, and AI in the digital and virtual economy.
In the spring of this year the tech landscape witnessed the meteoric rise of consumer-facing AI search platforms and recommendation systems, exemplified by the likes of ChatGPT and Google's Bard. The ensuing excitement has generated a wave of discussions, often oscillating between exuberant anticipation of AI as the ultimate solution or ominous concerns that it might lead to our collective undoing.
In the new release of the book I put forth a provocative concept that when NFTs are integrated with AI and stored on the blockchain, they can offer a secure and verifiable ‘digital receipt’ that establishs the authenticity of digital identities and the ownership of content. This is discussed at length and I encourage you to check it out.
Next, I am pleased to announce that the podcast will resume in October and I would love recommendations and speaker suggestions from you on subjects related to AI and Web3 that would be of most interest.
Finally, I am honored to announce that I will be speaking on the “AI in Creative Industries” panel at the Executive Leadership Awards event for Innovate@UCLA this week. The ideas shared here will be best-in-class and I will give you an overview as soon as possible.
I hope to hear from you and look forward to a great finish to 2023 and beyond.
